eDiscovery Project Manager

About the Position

OmniVere is seeking an eDiscovery Project Manager. The role of the Project Manager at OmniVere is to be the main contact to our clients on all e-discovery projects, while also being the liaison between our clients, sales personnel and operations staff. The PM is a solutions-oriented professional that oversees the execution of e-discovery projects and is ultimately responsible for the quality and timeliness of those projects. As a subject matter expert in e-discovery, the Project Manager consults with clients on appropriate solutions related to all phases of the litigation lifecycle and EDRM cycle. The Project Manager actively builds relationships with clients, customizing their support-style and technical delivery to meet the client’s expectations and maintain OmniVere’s standards and industry best practices. The Project Manager is collaborating with the Operations staff to ensure projects are accurate and on-time.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing end-to-end oversight of eDiscovery matters and serving as primary client point of contact.
  • Providing expertise and consultative advice regarding data collections, processing, review workflows, analytics, and production/export deliverables
  • Effectively manages client expectations, coordinates and manages project details, and collaborates with appropriate staff during the entire project to ensure work is done to client satisfaction and company standards.
  • Communicates frequently with clients to resolve issues and provide status updates according to the client’s needs.
  • Developing and managing relationships with internal teams.
  • Provides hands-on support in Relativity, Direct a proprietary tool, on a variety of requests, including: field and coding layout creation, indexing, advanced searches, creation of document review batches, pre-production searches, production processing and quality assurance at all phases.
  • Responsible for coordinating with accounting department on final billing information for a project.
  • Successfully overseeing multiple, concurrent projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Maintains all appropriate project tracking charts and prepares all required client reports as requested by the client.
  • Interacts with clients to develop strong relationships and demonstrates a high level of commitment to client success.
  • Strong collaborative skills in use of internal team building.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • BA/BS degree or minimum 3 years in the litigation support / legal industry.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in the e-discovery or litigation support industry.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Relativity (Relativity Certified Administrators are highly-valued).
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent projects involving cross-functional teams within budgetary and schedule constraints.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate client needs.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Strong technical understanding and/or experience with the e-discovery process (EDRM), litigation lifecycle is a must.
